Voip2Car - 2010 Geneva Motor Show Project

At the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, the Swiss company Voip2Car AG used one of our most versatile kiosks to dynamically demonstrate its innovative solution for taking high-speed Internet on the road. The Voip2Car system was incorporated in the UC concept car rolled out at the trade show by hyper-creative motor vehicle design firm Rinspeed.

Focus Centered Media was asked to create a free-standing kiosk allowing visitors to the Rinspeed booth to realistically interact with the Voip2Car system.

Working under a very tight deadline, we designed, manufactured and delivered a customized version of our sleek Vega kiosk - smoothly integrating fully functional Voip2Car applications with the Vega's minimalist design. This allowed visitors to the Rinspeed interactive exhibition booth to experience the Voip2Car interface as it would appear to the UC driver, while also demonstrating the advantages of implementing the system in a modern motor vehicle.

In addition to its integration flexibility and sleek lines, our Vega kiosk is also easily disassembled and reassembled, which perfectly met the need for a display that could be quickly transferred from show to show across Europe. Not only that, but with each reassembly, the Vega's front branding can be changed as necessary to fit into its new environment, without interfering with the kiosk's overall look or functionality.
